My winter vacation

Winter vacation is an expectant holiday for students. I also like winter vacation. Winter vacation can make me taking rest and doing what I want.

Winter vacation of this year is very different for me. It is my first time can stay in Taichung for a long time since I go to Tainan for studying. I spent most of time hanging out with my friends and family. We took meals and shared our life in different city with each other. We also went shopping and had tea. During winter vacation, Lucy, Fay, Stacy, Phoebe and Mavis came to Taichung travel. Paul and I went with them and took them to Yi-Chung Street, Feng-Jia night market and Dong-Hai. We also went to Lavender Cottage. There were many beautiful sights and we took many pictures. We tried eating lavender ice cream and other flavors of ice cream.

I also spent time with my family in winter vacation. I shared my Tainan life to my parents and my parents told me something happened in my family. I often drank tea with my father and watched television with my mother. This New Year I back to grandmother’s house in Lu-Gang. I saw many relatives such as uncles, cousins, and aunts. We still talked about ourselves and exchanged ideas about future. We also planned hanging out together. We drove cars to Miaoli, Nantu and Chiayi.

When I had spare time, I will read some books. Recently I read a book name “The Dog of Babel.” It talks about a dog and a man’s story. The man wants to know a truth and teaches the dog how to talk. Although I didn’t finish this book, it was really interesting for me.

Winter vacation is passing so fast. It is the time to prepare for backing to school. This year I had substantial winter vacation. I will look forward next vacation and want to do more things.
