peer review of Paul's summary

Read the summary carefully and answer the following questions:
1. What do you like best about your peer’s summary? (Why? How might he or she do more of it?)
I like Paul’s summary which is clear and formal. It is easy to understand.

2. Is it clear what is being summarized? (i.e. Did your peer list the source, and cite it correctly?)
I think it is really clear and he also cites it correctly.

3. Is the thesis of the original essay clear in the summary? (Write out what you think that thesis is.)
Yes, it is clear in the summary. I think that thesis is “A young man had admire a sports car and told his father that he wanted to get one in the graduation day.

4. If you have read the original source, did you identify the same thesis? (If not, how does it differ?)
Yes, I can identify the same thesis.

5. Did your peer miss any key points from his or her summary? (If so, what are they?)
No, I think his summary include whole key points.

6. Did your peer include any of his own opinions in his or her summary? (If so, what are they?)
No, he didn’t add any of his own opinions. He followed the original article.

7. Did your peer include any unimportant details in his or her summary? (If so, what are they?)
No, I don’t think there are any unimportant details in Paul’s summary.

8. Were any points in the summary lost? (If so, where and how might it be fixed? Why do you think it might be important?)
Yes, I think he miss the topic sentence. For his first sentence “A young man had admire a sports car and told his father that he wanted to get one in the graduation day”, I think it is thesis. I think there is a miss before this sentence.
